Introduction

Liverpool City Region is the modern Metropolitan area name for Merseyside which is made up of six Local Authority boroughs: Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St. Helens and Wirral. Liverpool City Region is a coastal city, with an extensively developed port north of the city centre.

As Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, we see the development of green skills and employment as an essential strand of our future prosperity. Whilst the Renewables sector will see a growth of opportunities over the next decade which will generally emerge on Company specific websites, there is already a wider set of skills and employment opportunities that can be accessed in Liverpool City Region.

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and have also established a fair employment charter to create the platform for our region be the fairest, most equitable place in the country to work or run a business in.
