Delivering the Vision for the OEA Region
This event will explore the outcome of Allocation Round 7 (AR7), which was announced on Wednesday 14th January. The event will featuring discussion with offshore wind developers and marking the launch of the OEA Prospectus, which sets out the scale of opportunity across the region’s offshore wind and tidal energy pipeline.
Hear innovation pitches from participants in the OEA’s pilot accelerator programme, which ran over the autumn months. These sessions will showcase emerging capabilities and highlight where supply chain can support upcoming projects.
This event provides a valuable opportunity to:
- Gain early insight into upcoming offshore wind and tidal developments in the region
- Understand developer requirements; timelines and procurement priorities following AR7
- Identify where your products or services could align with future project needs
- Speak directly with offshore wind and tidal developers, regional stakeholders, and delivery partners in one place
- Build relationships that can support future tendering, collaboration and consortia-building
As always, the event will offer excellent networking opportunities with businesses from across the OEA regions, alongside key regional stakeholders involved in skills, infrastructure, innovation and economic development.
Delegates will also have the option to join a site tour of Coleg Llandrillo’s new Engineering Centre and offshore wind apprentice workshop, providing first-hand insight into the region’s growing skills and training capability supporting the offshore energy sector.
