The Offshore Energy Alliance’s (OEA) Supply Chain Topic Champion, Hutchinson, will host a supply chain event at the DCBL (Halton) Stadium on Thursday 25th September, bringing together businesses from across north Wales and the northwest of England to explore opportunities in the offshore wind and tidal industries.
Back to where it all began; the OEA’s first ever supply chain event was hosted by Hutchinson at their facility in Widnes. Hutchinson have hosted numerous events over the last two year and this event is taking place from 10:00 to 13:30 at Halton Stadium, followed by a guided tour of Hutchinson’s Widnes facility. Attendees can also expect to hear updates from leading developers, insights into key sector initiatives and plenty of networking opportunities.
This event is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to engage directly with key stakeholders in the offshore energy sector. Hear the latest project updates and how Hutchinson expanded the business and factory space to further support the offshore energy sector, including how contracts with Severfield for Hornsea 3 (offshore wind) and HydroWing (tidal) were recently secured.
The aim of the event is to give businesses the opportunity to connect, in order to strengthen the regional supply chain and ensure companies within the region are well-placed to contribute to the industry’s growth.
